About BNT Recording

"BNT started out as sort of an afterschool hang out center for the teens and other local youth who had nothing better to do after school but get into all the wrong kinds of trouble, the kind of trouble that only ends in one place. You know what I mean? So, as they start hanging out more and more at my house, they start to see me actually in the studio working and creating, engineering on all type of synthesizers, audio workstations, mixing boards, and they really start to get into that sort of

stuff. Start asking me how to do this, how I make that sound like that, if they can try. Slowly I answer every question they throw at me, one on one, teaching them how to use the different pieces of equipment until it just got to the point to where it became a sort of ritual. Get off school, come to my spot, do all their homework and studying, then practice, learn, and play on the different devices, then get home before their parents complain about them being out too late. From that point, months go by, and now I'm getting other kids wanting to come up to my house and learn everything they been hearing about. Parents getting involved and wanting their kids to get structured courses. It get to the point to then even the parents wanting to learn themselves, cousins, older siblings, strangers who somehow heard through word of mouth, all of them. So that's when I knew this was something bigger than anything I initially foresaw.

Now fast forward a couple of years, and some of those first students I mentored have now become mentors themselves and have taken on the mantle of teaching other's the art of recording and producing audio. We have worked with some of the biggest artist you may know today, and still, we prioritize the starting ideals that learning is for anyone, no matter the age, education level, background, or circumstance. I am beyond proud to have taken the path I have which has ultimately sparked the creative journey of so many.
